Healthy Ginger Honey Tea
Hello everyone! Recently
when I went shopping at Costco, I found large packs of organic ginger, which
seemed perfect for ginger honey tea to drink once the weather cools down. I
especially like to drink a cup of ginger tea when I feel a cold coming. Ginger
honey tea is great for your health, warms your body up, and has an amazing
flavor. Hope you enjoy this recipe!
Ingredients: 2 pounds of peeled ginger, 2.2 pounds of honey or sugar
How to make it
Step 1: Peeling
ginger
Soak the ginger in
water for about 10 minutes. Cut the small parts. Peel the washed ginger with a
knife or spoon. When you have finished peeling the ginger, wash it again with
water. Then remove the water from the strainer. Dry it for 1-2 hours.
Step 2: Slicing
ginger
Slice ginger as thin as possible.
Place the sliced ginger in a jar.
Step 3: Pouring honey
Add about 1 pound of
thinly sliced ginger. Add about 1 and a half cups of honey for 1 pound of
ginger. If you don't have honey, you can use sugar.
After a day, open the lid and mix well back and forth to mix the honey evenly. Pour hot water and drink it as ginger tea.
Very
healthy and delicious ginger honey tea is done!
Doesn’t a cup
of ginger honey tea seem perfect for fall and winter? Although peeling the skin
can be a little hard, I feel like the hard work pays off! I hope you can make
and enjoy this tea at home! Thank you, bye bye!
