Korean dipping sauce, Ssamjang
Have you ever wanted to make your own Korean dipping sauce, ssamjang? Check out my new recipe below to learn how!
This is the ssamjang sold at the mart.
Although store-bought ssamjang is good, I think homemade is
even better! So, today I'm going to show you how to make ssamjang at home.
First, mince 3 small cloves of garlic (1/2T).
Add 2 tablespoons of soybean paste. Add 1 tablespoon of red pepper paste. Add 1 tablespoon of honey or sugar. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame oil. Add 1 tablespoon of sesame seeds. Mix well. Check the consistency and add 1 tablespoon of water. Mix well evenly.
How to eat
You can also serve it when grilling meat or vegetables. If you put a piece of meat and onions on top and put a little ssamjang on top of it, it's really delicious. It's delicious even if you just dip vegetables.
