 Tofu Tuna Pancake

Hello K Friends! Hope you are doing well! Today I want to introduce tofu tuna recipe. The ingredients are so simple, yet the taste is great! Hope you enjoy the recipe!

Ingredients: 1 canned tuna, 1 tofu , a bit of carrot, 2 green onions, 1 red pepper, 2 eggs, 3T starch powder 

How to make it

Step 1 Ingredient preparation 

Drain the tofu with a cotton cloth or kitchen towel.

Put the canned tuna in a strainer and press down with a spoon to drain the oil. 



Chop the carrots, green onions, and red pepper finely.

Step 2 Making the batter

Put 3 tablespoons of starch powder so that the batter is well coated. Add 1 teaspoon of salt and some ground pepper. Add 2 eggs. Mix well. 

Flatten the finished batter into rounds of appropriate size.

Step 3 Frying 

Add about 2 tablespoons of oil to the pan. Cook over medium heat first, then reduce the heat to low and cook until golden brown on both sides. Cook each over low heat for 3-4 minutes. Cover with a lid to cook well. Once one side is fully cooked, turn it over so it doesn't break.

  • a bit of carrot
  • 2 green onions
  • 1 red pepper
  • 2 eggs
  • 3T starch powder 

 Notes

  • If you don't drain the moisture, it can break easily when frying in a pan. 
  • If the vegetables are watery, add 1 tablespoon of starch powder to adjust the consistency of the batter.
  • Adding an egg enhances the taste and helps the batter stick together.
  • You can add 1 more egg yolk for color.
