How to make chicken veggie porridge😊😋

 

Chicken vegetable Porridge, Dak Yachae Juk

Hello K Friends! Hope you are doing very well! Today, I'd like to introduce a dish that is often made when family members are sick or have no appetite. It's called "Chicken Vegetable Porridge." It's great to have even for a tasteless breakfast. Hope you enjoy this recipe!

Chicken Vegetable Porridge

Ingredients:

  • 1C glutinous rice
  • 1 chicken breast
  • some carrot, onion, and zucchini
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 1 green onion
  • 1T sesame oil
  • 2T fish sauce
  • a bit of salt and pepper
  • 7C water

Instructions

1. This glutinous rice has been soaked in water for about an hour and drained.

2. Finely chop some zucchini, carrot, and onion. Finely chop 1 green onion. Mince 2 cloves of garlic.





3. Cut the chicken breast in half. Then cut it lengthwise. Cut it into appropriate sizes.




4. Put 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a preheated pot. Add minced garlic and chopped onion. Stir-fry. Add the chicken and put a pinch of salt to season.

5. Then add the soaked rice and stir fry it for a minute.

6. When the rice becomes somewhat transparent, add 7 cups of water. Boil it over high heat. Open the lid and let it boiling.



7. When the porridge boils, reduce the heat to medium and let it simmer for about 10 minutes. Keep the lid slightly open while boiling to prevent overflow.


8. After 10 minutes, add the sliced zucchini, carrot, and green onion. Stir well.


9. Also, adjust the seasoning. Add 2 tablespoons of fish sauce or tuna fish sauce. If you find it bland, you can adjust the seasoning with a bit of salt and a bit of pepper.

Very delicious and healthy chicken porridge is done!

Notes

  • If you don't have glutinous rice, you can use regular rice instead. You can also use leftover rice instead.
  • You can add any other vegetables you like.
  • Using chicken breast will make the porridge more tender and delicious. If you add beef, it will become beef porridge.
