Try This Savory and Delicious Korean Black Bean Sauce Pasta ✨

 Jjajang Pasta 

Hello everyone! Today, I'm going to show you how to make Jjajangmyeon using pasta. If you don't have Jjajangmyeon noodles at home, try using spaghetti instead! It's absolutely delicious! 😊

Ingredients: (For 1 Serving)

  • 3.5 oz (100 g) spaghetti
  • 1/2 small onion
  • Some cabbage
  • A little cucumber (optional)
  • 6-7 medium shrimp
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 3T jjajang powder (black bean powder)
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 cup water
  • 2T olive or avocado oil

Instructions

Thinly slice the onion and cabbage. Slice cucumber for garnish (optional). Cut shrimp in half. Mince garlic.

Boil water with 1/2 tablespoon of salt. Cook 3.5 oz (100 g) spaghetti for 9 minutes or as per package instructions.

In a pan, heat 2 tablespoons of olive oil. Stir-fry garlic until fragrant. Add onion and cabbage, stir-fry until onion is translucent. Add shrimp and 1/2 tablespoon of soy sauce, mix well.



Add 3 tablespoons of jjajang powder, 1 teaspoon of sugar, and stir-fry. Add 1 cup water. Mix well and boil for 2-3 minutes.




After 9 minutes, drain spaghetti and add to the pan. Mix well.


Turn off heat, add a little sesame oil for flavor. Plate the pasta and pour the rest of the ingredients over it. Garnish with a little of cucumber if desired. Flavorful and savory jjajang pasta!
