Homemade French fries are
delightfully crispy and flavorful. Made with fresh potatoes, these fries are

Ingredients
- 3 medium potatoes
- 2T starch powder
- 1t garlic salt or salt
Instructions
Potatoes: Peel, wash, and
cut 3 potatoes into small pieces. Use a crinkle cutter if available.
Rinse to remove excess
starch and add 1 teaspoon of salt.
Transfer to cold water, then
drain and dry well.
Coating: Place potatoes in a
plastic bag, add 1 teaspoon of garlic salt (or regular salt) and 2 tablespoons
of starch powder. Shake to coat.
Frying: Heat oil to 330°F
(165°C) in a deep pan. Test with one piece; if it sizzles, add the rest. Fry
potatoes over medium-low heat for 3-4 minutes, then remove and cool slightly. Fry
again until golden brown for extra crispiness.
Serving: Serve hot with
ketchup or honey mustard sauce. Enjoy your perfectly crispy homemade French
