 7 Ways to Enjoy Korean Fire Noodles

Buldak Noodles has been a global hit since its debut in 2012. While my daughter enjoys Buldak Carbonara, I only tried it recently and discovered why it's so popular: its unique, addictive taste. #1 Buldak Noodles with Chicken

Buldak Noodles With Chicken

Ingredients:

  • 1 pack spicy stir-fried noodles
  • A little onion
  • 1 green onion
  • 1 piece of chicken thigh or breast
  • 1t garlic
  • 1T soy sauce
  • 1/2T sugar
  • 1/2T gochujang
  • 1/2T sesame oil
  • Flakes

Instructions

Preparing Ingredients: Thinly slice the onion and green onion, finely chop parsley, and cut the chicken into small pieces.

Boiling the Noodles: Cook the buldak noodles in boiling water for 5 minutes.

Stir-frying Ingredients: Heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, add 1 teaspoon of garlic, then stir-fry the onion, green onion, and chicken. Season with 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, and 1/2 tablespoon of gochujang.

Stir-frying Noodles and Sauce: Drain the noodles after 5 minutes, add them to the pan, and stir-fry with the sauce packet for 30 seconds.

Finishing Touch: Turn off the heat, mix in 1/2 tablespoon of sesame oil, and transfer to a bowl. Sprinkle with flakes. Enjoy your delicious buldak noodles with chicken!

 #2 Buldak Tuna Fried Rice

Buldak Tuna Noodle Fried Rice
Ingredients

  • 1 pack buldak noodles (buldak bokkeummyeon)
  • 1/2 bowl rice
  • 1 can tuna
  • 1 egg yolk (optional)
  • A little red onion (or regular onion)
  • 1 green onion
  • 1T soy sauce
  • 1T sesame oil
  • Flakes

Instructions

Preparing Ingredients: Break the buldak noodles into small pieces. Thinly slice a little red onion (or regular onion) and 1 green onion. Drain the tuna.

Cooking the Noodles: Cook the crushed noodles in boiling water for 4 minutes.

Preparing the Stir-fry: While the noodles cook, heat oil in a pan and stir-fry the onion and green onion. Add the tuna and 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, stir-frying well.

Finishing the Fried Rice: After 4 minutes, drain the noodles and add them to the pan. Add 1/2 bowl of rice and the sauce packet, then stir-fry for 1 minute.

Finish: Turn off the heat, mix in 1 tablespoon of sesame oil, and transfer to a bowl. Sprinkle with flakes. Your delicious Buldak Tuna Fried Rice is done!

#3 Buldak Cream Carbonara with Seafood

Buldak Cream Carbonara With Seafood

Ingredients

  • 1 pack spicy chicken cream carbonara noodles
  • 5 shrimp
  • A little squid (optional)
  • A little parsley (optional)
  • A little Parmesan cheese
  • 1/2 cup milk
  • 1t garlic
  • A little salt and pepper
  • 1T cooking oil

Instructions

Boiling the Noodles: Cook the buldak cream carbonara noodles in boiling water for 4 minutes.

Stir-frying the Seafood: While the noodles cook, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan, add 1 teaspoon of garlic, and stir-fry until fragrant. Add shrimp and squid, seasoning with a little salt and pepper. You can skip the squid or use other seafood if preferred.

Making the Sauce: Once the seafood is cooked, add 1/2 cup of milk, the cream packet, and the sauce packet from the ramen. Mix well.

Combining the Noodles and Sauce: After 4 minutes, drain the noodles and mix them with the seafood cream sauce in the pan. Let it simmer for 1 more minute.

Finishing Touch: Turn off the heat, sprinkle Parmesan cheese and parsley if desired. Your creamy and delicious buldak cream carbonara with seafood is done!

# 4 Buldak NoodleTteokbokki

Buldak Noodle Tteokbokki

Ingredients

  • 1 pack spicy stir-fried noodles
  • A handful tteokbokki rice cakes
  • 1 sheet fish cake
  • A little onion
  • 1 green onion
  • 2 cups water
  • 1T soy sauce
  • 1T sugar
  • 1/2T gochujang
  • 1t garlic
  • Boiled egg (optional)
  • Flakes

Instructions

Preparing Ingredients: Cut the fish cake into small pieces, thinly slice the onion, and diagonally slice the green onion. Prepare some tteokbokki rice cakes.

Making the Base: Pour 2 cups of water into a pan and add the buldak sauce packet, 1 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1 tablespoon of sugar, 1/2 tablespoon of gochujang, and 1 teaspoon of garlic.

Adding Ingredients: Add the fish cake, onion, and tteokbokki rice cakes to the pan and bring to a boil.

Adding Noodles and Cooking: Once boiling, add the buldak noodles and simmer on high heat for 5-6 minutes until the sauce thickens.

Finishing Touch: Transfer to a bowl, sprinkle with flakes, and optionally top with a boiled egg. Delicious and hearty buldak noodle tteokbokki is done! It's a convenient and tasty way to satisfy your tteokbokki cravings!

#5 Buldak Noodles with Sausage & Vegetable

Buldak Noodle With Sausage And Veggies
Ingredients

  • 1 pack spicy stir-fried noodles
  • A little red, yellow, and green bell pepper
  • A little onion
  • 8 Vienna sausages
  • 5 cloves garlic
  • 1 T cooking oil
  • 1/2 T soy sauce
  • 1/2 T sugar
  • 2 T ketchup

Instructions

Preparing Ingredients: Slice bell peppers and red onion. Make shallow cuts on the Vienna sausages and slice the garlic.

 Boiling the Noodles: Boil the buldak noodles on high heat for 5 minutes.

Stir-frying Sausages and Vegetables: While the noodles boil, heat 1 tablespoon of oil in a pan. Stir-fry the garlic, then add the sausages and cook over medium-high heat. Add the bell peppers and onion, then stir-fry with 1/2 tablespoon of soy sauce, 1/2 tablespoon of sugar, and 2 tablespoons of ketchup.

Combining Noodles and Sauce: Drain the noodles after 5 minutes, add them to the pan, and mix with the sauce packet. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds.

Tangy, sweet, and spicy buldak noodles with sausage and vegetables is done!

#6 Buldak Cream Carbonara Risotto 

Buldak Cream Carbonara Risotto

Ingredients

  • 1 pack spicy chicken cream carbonara noodles
  • A little onion
  • 1 teaspoon garlic
  • 1/2T cooking oil
  • 1 cup milk
  • 1/2 cup rice
  • 1 slice cheddar cheese
  • A little Parmesan cheese
  • A little parsley (optional)
  • A pinch of salt (if needed)

Instructions

Preparing Ingredients: Thinly slice the onion. Break the noodles into small pieces and set aside the sauce and cream packet.

Boiling the Noodles: Add the crushed noodles to boiling water and cook for 3 minutes, then drain them using a strainer.

Stir frying Onion and Garlic: Preheat the pan over medium heat, add cooking oil, and stir-fry the garlic and onion until fragrant.

Making the Sauce: Pour 1 cup of milk into the pan and add the cream packet and sauce packet, mixing well. Add about 1/2 cup of rice and bring to a simmer.

Adding Noodles and Cheese: After 3 minutes, add the drained noodles to the pan and place a slice of cheddar cheese on top. Boil over high heat for 2 minutes. Taste and add salt if needed.

Finishing Touch: When the risotto becomes slightly thick, turn off the heat and transfer it to a bowl. Sprinkle with Parmesan cheese and a little parsley to finish.

Flavorful Buldak Cream Carbonara Risotto is done!

 #7 Corn Cheese Buldak noodles

Corn Cheese Buldak Noodles

Ingredients

  • 1 pack buldak stir-fried ramen
  • 3 T corn
  • 3T mozzarella cheese
  • 1T mayonnaise
  • 1/2T sugar
  • A little flake

Instructions

Preparing the Corn Cheese Mix: In a bowl, put 3 tablespoons of corn, 3 tablespoons of mozzarella cheese, 1 tablespoon of mayonnaise, and 1/2 tablespoon of sugar. This mix will become the sweet and savory corn cheese that will be placed on top of the noodles.

Cooking the Noodles: When the water boils, add the Buldak noodles and boil for exactly 5 minutes on high heat.

Stir-frying Sauce and Noodles: After 5 minutes, Drain the noodles using a strainer. Add 8 tablespoons of hot water to a pan or pot, add the drained noodles, and add the liquid sauce included in the ramen package. Stir-fry for about 30 seconds, while mixing well.

Finishing with Corn Cheese: Place the prepared Buldak noodles in a bowl and top with the pre-made corn cheese mix. Microwave for 1 minute and 30 seconds to melt the cheese.

Plating: After 1 minute and 30 seconds, Add the flakes. Amazingly delicious corn cheese buldak noodles is done!
