Easy and Delicious Korean Stir-Fried Zucchini (Hobak Bokkeum)

Hobak Bokkeum, Stir-fried Zucchini 

Stir-fried zucchini with minced clams is rich in umami flavor, and it's an easy dish to make with fresh zucchini and simple seasonings.

Stir-Fried Zucchini, Hobak Bokkeum

Ingredients:

  • 1 zucchini
  • 2 tablespoons minced clam meat
  • 1 tablespoon sesame oil
  • 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
  • 1 tablespoon tuna fish sauce
  • 1 teaspoon minced garlic
  • 1 tablespoon ground sesame seeds

Instructions:

Step 1 

Slice the zucchini into thin strips.

Step 2

Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame oil in a pan and stir-fry 2 tablespoons of minced clam meat over medium heat.


Step 3

Add the sliced zucchini, 1 tablespoon of chopped green onions, 1 tablespoon of tuna fish sauce, and 1 teaspoon of minced garlic. Stir-fry over medium-high heat for 2-3 minutes. (Tip: Don’t overcook the zucchini to keep its texture.)

Step 4 

After 2-3 minutes, add 1 tablespoon of ground sesame seeds and mix well.

 Your flavorful stir-fried zucchini is ready!
