Miyeok Namul, Stir-Fried Seaweed |
Miyeok namul is a healthy
side dish full of the ocean’s flavor, and it's easy to make using dried
seaweed. Packed with nutrients and great for your health, this dish can be a
regular addition to your meals.
Ingredients
- 1 oz (30g) dried seaweed (miyeok)
- 2 tablespoons chopped clam meat
- 1 tablespoon sesame oil
- 2 tablespoons minced clam meat
- 1 tablespoon tuna fish sauce
- 1 tablespoon chopped green onions
- 1 teaspoon minced garlic
- 1 tablespoon mirin or cooking wine
Instructions
Step1
Soak 1 oz (30g) of dried seaweed in
cold water for about 20 minutes. It will expand as it soaks.
Step 2
After 20 minutes, drain the
soaked seaweed, rinse it twice in clean water, and squeeze out the excess
water. Cut the seaweed into small pieces.
Step 3
Heat 1 tablespoon of sesame
oil in a pan. Add 2 tablespoons of minced clam meat, 1 tablespoon of tuna fish
sauce, 1 tablespoon of chopped green onions, 1 teaspoon of minced garlic, and 1
tablespoon of mirin. Stir well.
Step 4
Add the chopped seaweed and
stir-fry over medium heat for about 3 minutes.
